Cociety

Michael Otto combined the foundations and philanthropic initiatives he founded and cofounded in past decades under the umbrella of the accountability network Cociety. The eight founding members include, among others, the Michael Otto Foundation for Environmental Protection, The Young ClassX, the Climate Economy Foundation, the World Future Council, HANz!, the Aid by Trade Foundation, the finlit foundation and the international foundation platform F20. The network brings together initiatives for the common good in the areas of environmental and climate protection, education, culture and development work. They are in close contact and cooperate with each other. The diversity of the bundled knowledge of the involved organizations produces a comprehensive perspective on the challenges of our time and enables strong approaches for dealing with them. Together, the participating organizations can help to come closer to achieving the United Nation’s SDGs and create a resilient society that enables future generations to live in freedom, security and prosperity.
